Vue is a progressive JavaScript framework for building UIs — gentler learning curve than React and a more "batteries-included" philosophy. The template syntax looks like HTML and the official tools (Vue Router, Pinia, Nuxt) form a coherent stack.

Vue is popular in Europe and Asia and valued for readability and consistency. The ecosystem is smaller than React’s but large enough for most projects.
