#The Brief

Maruda na Szlaku is a creator-led outdoor brand built on long-form trail writing, photography, and a growing community. The brief was to turn that into a digital platform that could publish content, deepen the brand, and support merchandise without fragmenting the audience journey.

#Project Goals

  • Build a site that behaves like a brand platform, not a blog with a shop attached
  • Make long-form content the primary asset while leaving room for merchandise and future community layers
  • Create a system that can evolve as publishing cadence, product offers, and brand touchpoints expand

#Technical Decisions

The structure was built around content first. Articles, imagery, and merch placements were treated as connected parts of one publishing system rather than separate pages competing for attention. That made it easier to shape reading flows, highlight products contextually, and keep future content operations manageable.

#Brand Identity Work

The visual direction started with the photography itself rather than imposing a style on top of it. A muted, high-contrast palette and restrained typography system kept the site recognizable without making the content harder to manage or extend later.

The logo mark was designed to work across digital and physical formats, from merch embroidery to tiny browser UI. That mattered because the identity had to scale across channels, not just look good on the homepage.
